These beautifully patterned beads made of red eye agate (burnt) fascinate with their almost infinite variety of patterns in red-brown and cream-grey colors.
Diameter of the polished beads made of mongolia agate 6mm, length of the bracelet approx. 19cm. The bead bracelet is threaded onto sturdy Elastic Cord.
An inspiring new find from Inner Mongolia in north-eastern China! The round structures in the grain are typical of Mongolian agate, to which the mineral also owes its trade name of red eye agate. Another synonym is Gobi agate.
According to tradition, Mongolia agate was used thousands of years ago in its localities as a protective stone against negative energies. Eye agate is also used as a protective stone in modern gemstone healing. The mineral also helps people to face (unpleasant) things and situations, i.e. to look them in the eye.
