These specially sorted rough pieces of orange calcite are very suitable for decoration (e.g. in shop windows) and are therefore called Decoration Stones.

The deco chips are packed in packaging units (PU) of 1kg; you will receive approx. 28 - 32 rough stones of orange calcite per PU.
Especially bright, yellowish orange calcite is also called lemon calcite.
Other names for Calcite are Kalkspat/Kalkspath, Kalkstein, Doppelspat and Seekreide. The vernacular also calls calcite a leg-breaking stone. Of the various possible spellings, e.g. calcite, calcite, calcite or calcide, the spelling calcite, which is in common use in the wholesale trade today, has prevailed.
