Pack with 100 gram tourmaline rough pieces in various colors and sizes from approx. 0.7 - 2.0 cm. Each pack contains approx. 210 - 230 tourmaline stones.
The term "tourmaline" has been in use in Europe since the beginning of the 18th century. The name is derived from "thuramali" or "thoramalli", the Sinhalese word for "stone with mixed colors".
Tourmaline became known in Europe through the extensive natural history collection of the physician and botanist Paul Hermann, who worked as a doctor for the Dutch East India Company in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) in the 1670s.
Due to its wealth of minerals, tourmaline is generally used in gemstone healing as a dynamic, restorative and revitalizing gemstone. It helps to unite spirit, soul, mind and body into a harmonious whole.
