Attractive tealight shape - each piece is unique, as the tealights are made according to the structure of the respective rough stones.
The flat Slabs are approx. 10 x 10 cm in size; the edges are rough, the top is polished. Height of the gemstone light approx. 3.5 cm, diameter of the hole for the tealight approx. 4 cm.
Important: Do not leave the tealight burning unattended!
Rock Crystal goes back to the Greek word "krystallos" (ice, freezing cold), as in ancient times Rock Crystal was frozen ice that could no longer thaw. In the course of the 18th century, the prefix "mountain" was added, as the term "crystal" was now also used for a natural growth form of various minerals.
Synonyms for Rock Crystal in general are rock ice, ray and water drop quartz. Occasionally misleading names are found in the trade that refer to Rock Crystal as Diamond, e.g. Arkansas Diamond, Schaumburg Diamond, German Diamond or Pseudo Diamond.
