The drop-shaped salt light is approx. 19 cm tall including the wooden base and weighs approx. 2.9 kg. The salt lights give off a warm orange-yellow light.
The drop is drilled and can be illuminated. Please only use tested light sources and supply cables! The salt lamps are supplied with a lighting set (cable with switch and two bulbs) and information on how to operate the salt crystal lamps.
The importer in Switzerland must have an import permit from the Vereinigte Schweizerische Rheinsalinen for the salt lamps made of Halite.

The salt for the salt lamps comes from the famous Salt Range in the north-east of Pakistan (Punjab province), which is about 160 km from Islamabad and 260 km from Lahore. The salt mines around Kehwra are located in a foothill of the Himalayas, but are not directly associated with the Himalayan massif. Alexander salt is therefore also known commercially as "Himalayan salt" or "Himalayan salt".
Caution! The salt drop consists of real rock salt (Halite), please do not bring it into contact with water or store it moist. Salt is hygroscopic and can bloom in a damp environment or salt water can run off the rock salt lamps (especially if they are not used for a long time). Always place a base under the salt lamp to protect surfaces.
