String Beads, Amethyst, faceted, 04mm (38cm)

The faceted amethyst beads have an intense purple color and a diameter of 4mm; the entire amethyst strand is approx. 38cm long.

The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
