Strand Double Point, Rock Crystal (Herkimer type), 03-04 x 06-09mm

Each of these beautifully clear Herkimer diamonds has its own unique appearance in terms of shape, size and internal reflection.

All strands of Herkimer quartz are approx. 40 cm long and are strung together for transportation. We recommend that you always replace the transportation thread with suitable knotting material.

Herkimer "diamonds" are not real diamonds, but small, sparkling Rock Crystal (Double Point). Localities where they were first found are in Herkimer (USA) and gave their name to this special form of Rock Crystal. For some years now, a second location for the double-ender has been developed in Pakistan, where the stones for these Herkimer diamond strands also come from.
