Due to the flat shape of the orange calcite stone parts, the gemstone necklace lies well on the skin.
The orange calcite strand is about 40cm long.
Also under the names Kalkspath/Kalkspat, Doppelspat, Kalkstein and Seekreide Calcite can be found in the trade. In the vernacular Calcite is also called leg break stone. Of the various possible spellings, e.g. calcite, calcite, calcite or calcide, the spelling calcite, which is most commonly found in the wholesale trade today, has prevailed.
