The strands are 40cm long and strung for transport. We recommend that you always replace the transport thread with suitable knotting material.
The faceted spindles are 6mm long; this shape is also called bicone or dicone.
The name fluorite is derived from the Latin fluere (to flow) and refers to the mining term fluorspar for fluorite. Spellings such as floride, florite, flouride, fluorite or fluride are therefore incorrect.
