The faceted garnet buttons are approx. 2.5 mm thick and have a diameter of 4 mm.
The entire length of the garnet strand is approx. 40cm; ideal for a bracelet and a pair of matching, elaborate earrings, for example.
The dark red garnet (Almandine) is used in gemstone healing to strengthen willpower and to assert one's own ideas against resistance. Hildegard von Bingen was already concerned with the effect of garnet under the then common name carbuncle.
