Faceted lapis strand threaded from rectangles - the flat shape accentuates the grain of the gemstone particularly well!
The flat rectangles of lapis lazuli are approx. 10 x 8mm in size and faceted on both sides. Length of the necklace strand approx. 39cm.
Lapis lazuli has been used as a gemstone and cult object for at least 9000 years (Indus Valley).
As a classic gemstone for communication, Lapis Lazuli is mainly used when the neck area is to be worked on. Applications with Lapis Lazuli provide support when something is literally "stuck in your throat" or when your "throat is full".
