Beautiful dark green nephrite chips that can be knotted with both gold-plated and silver intermediate parts to create elegant necklaces and bracelets.
Thickness of the nephrite chips approx. 3 - 4mm, length approx. 8 - 12mm. The nephrite chain strand is approx. 40cm long.
Nephrite jade as a chain strand is rather unusual - and yet the gemstone healing aspects of the mineral are so interesting: Nephrite gives inner balance and thus shields against negative influences from outside. Brooding and fruitless thinking can be overcome more easily with Nephrite.
Nephrite can also be found on the market as Maori jade, nephrite jade, nefrite or New Zealand jade. Mineralogically, Nephrite is an Actinolite with many small, interlocking crystals. Occurrence of the olive green color is due to iron and chromium.
