String Beads, Sugilite, 07mm

The Sugilite beads in the various typical shades of Sugilite are approx. 7mm in size: the total length of the strand is approx. 40cm.

Supporting loyalty to oneself and strengthening the ability to resolve conflicts is supported by the stone healing effect of Sugilite.

The first, very small Sugilite finds were made in 1944 by the Japanese professor Ken-ichi Sugi in Ehime Prefecture (Japan). A precise description was not made until a good thirty years later by a group of Japanese mineralogists in 1976, who named it after its discoverer Ken-ichi Sugi. The sometimes encountered spellings sugelite, sugulite or suggilite are therefore incorrect. In the trade, Sugilite is also known as New Age Stone or New Age Stone; a synonym for Sugilite is also Luvulite.
