This turquoise strand consists of flat discs (heishi) that have been drilled through the center. The discs are approximately 2–3 mm thick and 5 mm in diameter.
The entire turquoise strand is approximately 38 cm long.
Turquoise is used in crystal healing when a gemstone with balancing and positive effects is sought.
Rough turquoise stones are open-pored and often soft and brittle. To ensure safe processing during grinding, polishing, and drilling, the rough stones are impregnated with a colorless stabilizing resin. The color of our Turquoise is natural. This standard industry practice is marked with “(stab.)” in our wholesale web store.
