The rounded chips are 1–3 mm thick and about 4 mm in diameter; the turquoise strand with the small chips is a good 40 cm long.
In crystal healing, turquoise is used to promote balance and encouragement, as well as to enhance protection against external influences.
Rough turquoise stones are porous and often soft and brittle. To ensure safe processing during grinding, polishing, and drilling, the rough stones are impregnated with a colorless stabilizing resin. The color of our Turquoise is natural. This standard industry practice is marked with “(stab.)” in our wholesale online store.
