The irregular shape of these flat freeform beads lend every piece of jewelry a natural, original ambience.
The freshwater cultured pearls are approx. 6 - 7mm in size and irregularly shaped. The pearl strand is approx. 39 cm long.

Pearls are not gemstones, they are products of oysters and some types of mussel. Occurrence occurs naturally when the mussel has to deal with a foreign body that has entered its interior. In order not to injure itself, the mussel forms a protective layer by layer of Mother of Pearl around this "intruder" and so, over the course of a few years, a pearl is formed.
