This strand of AA-grade thulite beads is approximately 40 cm long; the beads have a diameter of 8.0 to 8.5 mm. Each strand is strung with beads of the same size.
Origin of the raw material: Norway
Thulite, also known as pink or red Zoisite, is used in gemstone healing to help people better overcome challenges. With the support of this mineral, it becomes easier to step outside one’s comfort zone and live out one’s desires and fantasies.
The mineral’s reddish color is caused by manganese.
The mineral thulite was named in 1823 by the London mineralogist Henry James Brooke. It was named after the legendary island of Thule, which in Germanic mythology was the northernmost tip of the world. The name was likely chosen because, at the beginning of the 19th century, only a single locality of thulite was known to exist in Norway. The spellings “tulit,” “thulith,” “thuilit,” or “thullit” are therefore incorrect.
