The strands are 40 cm long and are strung together for transportation. We recommend always replacing the transport thread with suitable knotting material.

The mineralogical name for Sunstone is Aventurine Feldspar; the reddish color and sparkle are caused by tiny inclusions of Hematite and other iron oxides. Nowadays, an outdated name for sunstone is heliolite or heliotite.
