The glittering, bright green beads of Tsavorite are faceted and have a diameter of 3mm. The garnet strand has a length of approx. 39 cm.
Tsavorite belongs to a subgroup of Grossular (green garnet). In modern gemstone healing, Tsavorite is used to provide strength and energy when circumstances are very stressful and arduous. The gemstone's message is one of structure and independence, so that with the support of tsavorite, you can also fight your way through difficult phases.
Tsvaorite is a newcomer among gemstones; the mineral was only discovered in 1967. Tsavorite was given its name by the Tiffany company in honor of the Tsavo East National Park in Kenya.
The intense green color is caused by traces of vanadium or chromium.
