Strand drop flat, Iron Quartz (red), faceted, 25 x 18mm

In this precious strand of teardrop-shaped faceted iron pebbles, each drilled stone element is different from the others - the color palette ranges from almost pure white, through numerous intermediate shades of orange and red, to opaque dark brown-red.

The faceted drops have a size of 25 x 18mm, the entire gemstone strand measures 40cm.

The effect of Iron Quartz is appreciated in gemstone medicine, when it is necessary to mobilize energy reserves and energetically implement resolved intentions.

Red Iron Quartz gets its color from red oxidized inclusions of Hematite in Quartz; therefore the mineral is also called Hematite Quartz or Hematoid Quartz. The stone also owes the synonym Strawberry Quartz to its color. A common name is also lepidocrocite as well as iron quartz. From the English language is taken over the designation Hematoide/Hämatoit.
