The interesting mesh patterns are achieved using a special technique in which the stringed beads are heated, creating fine cracks in the surface of the Agate.

If the gemstone beads come into contact with skin oils, creams, cosmetics or similar, the cracks in the surface of the agate beads are filled and the net pattern is less clearly visible. Therefore, if the designs of stones with cracked patterns are to be permanently preserved, it is best if the stones do not come into contact with the skin.

All strands are 38-40cm long and strung for transportation. We recommend always replacing the transportation thread with suitable knotting material.

Red Agate is also called crack agate, vein agate, dragon agate, spider web agate or spider web agate due to its pattern.
