The small slices of light turquoise-green Amazonite are approximately 2 mm thick and about 6–7 mm in diameter. The total length of the Amazonite strand is 40 cm.
Supporting the harmonious interplay between the mind and intellect on one hand, and emotions and intuition on the other, is an important area of application for Amazonite in crystal healing.
In mineralogy, Amazonite is known as a blue-green Feldspar.
