The raw material comes from Minas Gerais in Brazil. This natural material is a mineral mixture containing trolleite, which may occur alongside associated minerals such as Lazulite, scorzalite, and quartz. This gives each bead its unique color and pattern.
This unusual trolleite strand is particularly well-suited for jewelers, goldsmiths, and jewelry designers seeking exceptional gemstones for necklaces, bracelets, and other jewelry creations. The various shades of blue can be attractively combined with both silver and gold-colored jewelry elements.
Trolleite was named after the Swedish chemist Hans Gabriel Trolle-Wachtmeister (1782–1871). The mineral was first scientifically described in 1868; the type specimen was discovered in Västanå, Sweden.
