The pale pink beads of Mangano Calcite have a polished surface and a diameter of 8mm. The strand is approx. 40cm long - enough for a knotted necklace or two bracelets.
Origin of the rough: Balochistan, Pakistan.
The pink-colored Mangano Calcite is used in gemstone healing when a stone is needed to help work on various interpersonal issues: Kindness, acceptance, helpfulness and friendly affection are the messages of this mineral.
Calcite can also be found on the market under the names calcite/limestone spar, double spar, limestone and sea chalk. Calcite is also popularly known as "leg-breaking stone".
Of the various possible spellings, e.g. calcite, calcite, calcite or calcide, the spelling calcite, which is most commonly found in the wholesale trade today, has become established. At the same time, the spellings manganocalzite, manganocalcite and manganocalcite are also rather rare.
