Very elegant studio necklace from the Chili Jewels design studio with white shell beads!
Size of the cream-white pearls (coated) 12mm, weight approx. 100ct.
The intermediate parts are made of gold-plated silver 925 and threaded on gold-plated jewelry wire. Thickness of the jewelry wire 0.6mm, silver weight 3.4g.
The pearl necklace is 43cm long and has an additional 6cm long extension chain.
Genuine mussel seed pearls are made from the kernel of oyster shells. The Mother of Pearl of the oysters is ground into a fine powder, enriched with natural dyes and applied to the core (from this very shell) in a very complicated process.
This complex manufacturing process ensures that shell pearls are always perfectly round, have a wonderful luster and are a cost-effective alternative to genuine Tahitian or South Sea pearls. Shell pearls are 100% organic and can be cared for in the same way as real pearls.
