Light Mother of Pearl with intense pops of turquoise and red! Turquoise and red are the signature colors of the jewelry that has been crafted by the indigenous peoples of the southwestern United States for centuries. In this gemstone necklace, red coral is replaced by vibrant red blood chalcedony. Diameter of the Heishi discs: approx. 4–5 mm. Necklace length: 42 cm plus a 5 cm extension chain; strung on stainless steel wire. The lobster clasp and extension chain are made of rhodiniert 925 silver. Rough turquoise stones are porous and often soft and brittle. To ensure they can be safely processed during grinding, polishing, and drilling, the rough stones are impregnated with a colorless stabilizing resin. The color of our Turquoises is natural. This standard industry practice is marked with “(stab.)” in our wholesale online store.
