Rough turquoise stones are open-pored and often soft and brittle. To ensure safe processing during cutting, polishing, and drilling, the rough stones are impregnated with a colorless stabilizing resin. The color of our Turquoises is natural. This standard industry practice is marked with “(stab.)” in our wholesale web shop.
