Rough turquoise stones are porous and often soft and brittle. To ensure safe processing during cutting, polishing, and drilling, the rough stones are impregnated with a colorless stabilizing resin. The color of our Turquoises is natural. This standard industry practice is marked with “(stab.)” in our wholesale web shop.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered.
