The faceted cabochon of sparkling black Spinel has a diameter of 8mm.

The whole pendant made of rhodium-plated silver 925 is 10mm, the hole in the setting of the stone is 3mm.

The price of the spinel pendant does not include the pictured steel choker.

In stone healing black Spinel is used when constructive drive and modesty is required; discipline and sense of duty are strengthened.

For the origin of the name Spinel there are two theories: Either Spinel derives from the Greek "spin(n)os" (to sparkle) or from the Latin "spinella" (small thorn). Since the 16th century, various spellings of the mineral have been used in Europe, such as spynell, spinella, and spinellus. Today the spelling Spinel is common, occasionally Spinnell can be found.
