Shiva's Eye pendant (18mm), round, 2.9cm, platinum plated

The pendant with the nautilus snail is approx. 2.9 cm in size.

The setting and eyelet are made of highly polished, platinum-plated 925 silver; silver weight 0.6g.

The creamy white disc with the typical spiral pattern is mistakenly referred to in the trade as a nautilus snake or Shiva shell. In fact, it is the lid with which the turban snail can close its shell in case of danger, the so-called operculum. This is also known as the Shiva eye and represents knowledge and wisdom. In the Mediterranean region, it is also known as the Eye of Lucia or Sea Eye.
