Size of the turtle made from rhodiniert, highly polished 925 silver: 2.6 x 2.55 cm. Silver weight 3.7g.
The cabochons for the Larimar inlay are 13.5 x 9.5mm in size; total stone weight 3.4ct.
In Chinese tradition, the turtle represents the north, yin energy, the night and peace and regeneration. In other traditions, the tortoise appears as a great helper. It is said to have helped the first Chinese emperor to tame the yellow river. Its real longevity also makes it the ideal symbol for a long and healthy life.
