Modern gemstone pendant with colorful iridescent cabochons made of Canadian Ammolite!
Size of the pendant approx. 4.4 x 1.5 cm, inner diameter of the eyelet 4.5 mm.
Bezel settings and eyelets are made of highly polished, rhodiniert silver 925; silver weight 2.64g.
The oval Ammolite cabochon is approx. 14 x 10mm in size, the two drops are approx. 9 x 6mm in size; stone weight Ammolite approx. 7.2ct.
Ammolite is the trade name for the gemstone quality of a colorful iridescent fossil shell of two ammonites: Placenticeras meeki and Placenticeras intercalare. The gemstone consists of the finest aragonite platelets, which produce the bright colors through interference of light.
Localities: St. Mary Rivers near Lethbridge in southwest Alberta (Canada).
