An extraordinary pendant featuring rare Peace Agate from Ternate, the Maluku Islands, Indonesia. Mineralogically, it is orbicular agate, known for its fascinating circular patterns.
Depending on the direction of cutting, the natural orbicular structures become visible in different ways: Either you look down from above at the tubular structures and see the characteristic circular “eyes,” or the stone is cut along the length of the tubes, revealing their fascinating linear structure. As a result, each cabochon has a look all its own—no two pendants are alike.
The oval Peace Agate was carefully cut and set in a high-gloss polished, rhodiniertes 925 sterling silver bezel setting. A faceted pink tourmaline adds a touch of elegance to the piece, giving the pendant a particularly elegant aura.
