The round Banten jasper cabochon, measuring approximately 33 mm, is set in a modern half-bezel made of highly polished, rhodiniertes 925 silver. The open design leaves much of the stone visible and beautifully highlights its characteristic pattern. The Banten jasper comes from Banten, Indonesia, where the localities are located in hard-to-reach forested areas. Some of the paths are too narrow and difficult for cars or trucks to navigate. Therefore, local miners transport the raw material through the forest to the nearest passable road using specially modified motorcycles. These can carry about 100–200 kg of rough stones per trip.

The Banten jasper is then cut and set at our facility in Indonesia. This results in the formation of unique pieces of jewelry that highlight the natural veining of each individual stone.
