This men's ring has a solid, heavy ring shank made of 925 silver, into which a faceted black Spinel cabochon with a diameter of 4mm is set. An ideal ring for men!

There are two theories for the origin of the name Spinel: Spinel is either derived from the Greek "spin(n)os" (to sparkle) or from the Latin "spinella" (small thorn). Various spellings of the mineral have been used in Europe since the 16th century, e.g. Spynell, Spinella and Spinellus. Today the spelling Spinel is common, occasionally also Spinnell can be found.
