This eye-catching yet elegant ring with a large gray mabé pearl is size 55.
The setting around the mabe pearl is made from shiny 925 silver, while the elaborate ring band has a matt, brushed surface.
The semicircular Mabé pearl has a diameter of approx. 15mm.
Mabe pearls take their name from the mussel "Mabe-Gai" (Pteria penguin) in which they grow. Unlike many other pearls, the Mabe pearl grows on the inside of the Mussel shell. This is how the typical shape of these pearls is formed: Flat on one side, semi-curved on the other; this is why this shape is also known as a half pearl.
