This high-quality Ammolite ring combines timeless elegance with the spectacular variety of colors of one of the rarest organic gemstones in the world. The centerpiece is an oval Ammolite cabochon (16 × 12 mm) weighing approx. 6.65 ct, which captivates with its intense, natural play of colors.
The cabochon is securely glued into a bezel setting. The bezel setting and ring band are made of highly polished, gold-plated 925 silver weighing approx. 3.74 g. The harmonious proportions give the ring a particularly elegant and high-quality look.
Ring size: 16 (50)
Overall dimensions of the ring: 23 × 19 mm
Ammolite is the trade name for the gemstone quality of the colorful, iridescent fossil shells of two ammonite species: Placenticeras meeki and Placenticeras intercalare. The gemstone consists of the finest aragonite platelets, which create their unique, iridescent play of colors through light interference - from red to green to blue.
The Blackfoot First Nation (Canadian aborigines) have known Ammolite for centuries under the name Iniskim ("buffalo stone") and, according to tradition, used it as a talisman for hunting. In 2004, Ammolite was officially declared a gemstone of the Canadian province of Alberta and has been considered a "National Treasure" ever since.
As Ammolite has a sensitive surface, the cabochon has been given a protective acrylic seal to preserve its color brilliance and durability in the long term - ideal for use in high-quality jewelry.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.
Chili Jewels® is our professional brand for the specialist trade with low wholesale prices and outstanding offers from our own production of silver jewelry, stone jewelry, necklaces and bracelets with real stones.
