Elegant design ring in size 57 (18) made of 925 silver, highly polished and rhodiniert, with a halved ammonite in a bezel setting as an eye-catcher.
The ammonite measures approx. 21 × 18 mm and shows its characteristic fossil structure. The ring measures approx. 23 × 23 mm. Stone weight approx. 12 ct, silver weight approx. 4.37 g.
Geological age of these fossils: Lower Devonian to Cretaceous
Dating: approx. 100 million years
Localities of the fossils: Ambarimaninga, northwest Madagascar
The fossilized ammonite was sawn open and polished by hand. The chambers are clearly visible and filled with crystallized minerals.
