Unusual larimar ring with two fancy-cut cabochons set in square settings.
The ring shank and Larimar settings are made of highly polished, rhodiniert 925 silver; silver weight approx. 3.47g.
The cabochons are approx. 11 x 6.3mm and 9 x 6.3mm in size and weigh approx. 3.18ct.
Dimensions of the gemstone ring: height 22mm, width 19mm; ring size 20 (63).
Larimar is very difficult to cut due to its mineralogical nature, as many stones break in the first processing step due to the fibrous nature of the material. Only about 100 grams of cabochons are usually obtained from 1kg of rough stones, which can then be further processed into Larimar jewelry.
Larimar is particularly popular as Silver jewelry, as this Precious metal brings out the color of the gemstone very well.
