Nephrite Ring, Cushion Cut, Size 54 (17), rhodiniert

This striking ring featuring nephrite jade is crafted at our jewelry workshop in Indonesia. The centerpiece is an 18 x 18 mm cushion-cut nephrite cabochon. The cushion shape is square or angular with gently rounded corners, combining a modern geometric look with soft contours. The color and natural veining of the green nephrite jade are particularly beautifully highlighted by the large stone surface.

The square Nephrite is securely held in place by prongs. The highly polished and rhodinierten 925 sterling silver accentuates the gemstone’s rich green color with its cool luster. A striking Nephrite ring for the collections of jewelers, goldsmiths, jewelry stores, and gemstone retailers. Cut and set at our facilities in Indonesia.

In this remote region, natural Nephrite boulders are found in areas such as those surrounding the Dare River. Individual raw blocks can weigh anywhere from one to two metric tons. Since many sites are difficult to access by vehicle, large blocks are sometimes broken up by hand right on site. Smaller pieces are carried across the rugged terrain and then transported further by motorcycle. Its unique origin in the pristine landscape of Aceh and the fact that it is mined by hand make this nephrite jade a gemstone with an extraordinary history.
