Size of the amethyst gland approx. 31 x 15 cm, weight approx. 8.48 kg.
Amethyst glands are often used as energetic room decorations and are also popular for energetic discharging and cleansing of gemstones. To cleanse amethyst, the stones in question simply need to be placed in an amethyst druse. The energy radiating from the crystal tips penetrates the stones placed on it with the mineral's "cleansing information" so that all foreign information is released.
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
