The individual flat Tumbled Stones are approx. 24 - 30 x 13 - 17mm in size, the entire chain strand has a length of approx. 40cm.
In gemstone healing, Variscite is important for promoting clear expression and a sober, rational attitude. The stone is also valued for its uplifting and balancing effect.
The name Variscite is derived from the first known localities of the mineral in Vogtland (Latin: Varisca); the spellings Varizit or Variskit are therefore incorrect.
Occasionally found synonyms are utalite, Californian Turquoise or Utha Turquoise.
