The faceted Sapphire beads are 8mm in size; stone weight Sapphire approx. 220ct.

Length of the sapphire necklace approx. 44cm plus 6cm extension chain.

Intermediate parts, 11mm Lobster Clasp and extension chain are made of gold-plated 925 silver; silver weight 4g.

The name Sapphire is derived from the Latin "sapphirus", which in turn goes back to the Greek "sappheiros" = blue. Its origin comes from the Sanskrit word "sanipryiam", which means "darling of Saturn". In Jyotish, Vedic astrology, the Sapphire is assigned to Saturn.
