The Smooth Stones are approx. 2.5 - 3.5 cm in diameter and, with a thickness of approx. 8 - 9 mm, are ideal as a hand flatterer or for laying on.
You will receive approx. 28 - 32 flat Smooth Stones per Packing Unit (PU) of 0.5kg.
The mineral barite got its name from the Greek word barýs (heavy); the spellings barite, barite, barite or bariet, which are occasionally found in retail and wholesale, are therefore incorrect. The mining name "barite" also refers to the high density of 4.5 g/qcm.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.
