Small Palmstone Rhyolite (Kabamba)

Just like the larger Large Palmstone, this shape is ideal for massage and wellness applications. The smaller and more elongated Small Palmstones are very good for stone overlays that are intended to cover a smaller area of the body. This shape is also particularly suitable for massages on the face and feet.

The self-contained shape of the oval conveys a special sense of calm and harmony.

Kabamba jasper is also known as Eldarite, Kabamba jasper, Kambamba jasper, Kambaba or Nebula stone.

The first scientific description of rhyolite was made in 1860 by Baron Ferdinand von Richthofen (1833 - 1905). The name rhyolite is derived from the two Greek words "rhein" (to flow) and "lithos" (stone) and alludes to the volcanic Occurrence. Of various possible spellings, e.g. rhiolite, riolite, ryholite or ryolite, rhyolite has become established in the retail and wholesale trade. Eye jasper is a well-known synonym; the terms quartz porphyry and liparite are obsolete.
