Elaborately designed pendant with dark Mother of Pearl and colorful iridescent Paua Shell!
The turtle with the domed shell measures approx. 5.0 x 3.8 cm.
Including the eyelet, the paua shell pendant measures approx. 6.4 cm. Inner diameter of the rhodiniert silver 925 eyelet approx. 3.7mm; silver weight approx. 0.6g.

In Chinese tradition, the tortoise represents the north, yin energy, the night and peace and regeneration. In other traditions, the turtle appears as a great helper. It is said to have helped the first Chinese emperor to tame the yellow river. Its real longevity also makes it the ideal symbol for a long and healthy life.
