Strand cuboid, apatite (stab.) extra, 04-06 x 02-03mm

The transparent, light turquoise cuboids made of extra-quality apatite are approx. 4-6mm long and 2-3mm thick.

The total length of the apatite strand (stab.) is approx. 40cm.

Due to its motivating effect, apatite is used in situations in which inertia and apathetic behavior are to be overcome in order to work purposefully on the implementation of plans.

The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" meaning "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite localities in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be confused with another mineral. Spellings such as apartite, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are incorrect.
