The name rubellite is derived from the Latin word "rubellus" (red); spellings such as rubelite, rubbelite or rubellite are therefore incorrect. As the Urals were the most important locality for rubellite until the 1920s, the synonym "Siberian Ruby" is occasionally used in the literature.
The sparkling, purple-aubergine-colored Lepidolite (mineralogically: lithium mica) is used in gemstone healing to protect against external influences and to give inner peace. The mineral helps you to concentrate on the essentials and not to be distracted by distractions.
