The gemstone malas consist of 48 lapis lazuli beads, 16 Blue Lace Agate beads, and 44 rudraksha seeds (all 6 mm in diameter) and are carefully hand-knotted with thread that matches the colors of both types of stones.

Attached to the back of the mala is a pendant featuring the Om symbol and a chili pepper (all made of 925 silver).

The prayer beads made of blue chalcedony and Lapis Lazuli are 86 cm long; the tassel is an additional 8 cm long. Chalcedony is the “stone of speakers”; this mineral promotes attentive listening and the ability to clearly express one’s concerns and ideas. Lapis Lazuli strengthens sincerity and the joy of connecting with others; it also supports the expression of (unpleasant) truths and the acceptance of them. Together, Blue Lace Agate and Lapis Lazuli form a powerful connection to the theme of communication. Under the motto “I am in harmony with my environment,” the combination of these two stones can strengthen a way of interacting with others that is characterized by vitality and sincerity.

Rudraksha beads are seeds traditionally dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva and are worn for protection and as a source of inspiration. Rudraksha beads, as natural-looking jewelry, are widely used in India and Nepal and are valued much like gemstones.

The “Communication” gemstone mala necklace is part of the Chili Jewels “Spirit Line” collection. The name “Lapis Lazuli” is derived from the Latin terms “lapis” (stone) and “lazulum” (blue). Alternative spellings such as Lapizlazuli, Lapeslazuli, or Lapizlazulli are incorrect. Because lapis lazuli has been known for so long, there are numerous synonyms. These include Azur d’Acre, Azurum Ultramarinum, Bleu d’Azur, Lapis Lazuli ultramarine, Lasurstein/Lazustein, Lazurium, Oltremare, Oriental Blue, Outremer lapis, Pierre d’azur, genuine ultramarine, ultramar ino/verdadero, and natural ultramarine scythium.

Individual design jewelry with gemstones: Gemstone mala Chalcedony, Lapis Lazuli (communication)

Marco Schreier Buch Lapis Vitalis

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.

Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.

Chili Jewels® is our professional brand for the specialist trade with low wholesale prices and outstanding offers from our own production of silver jewelry, stone jewelry, necklaces and pendants with real stones.
