The gemstone malas consist of 100 Serpentine beads and eight rudraksha seeds (both 6 mm in size) and are carefully hand-knotted with thread that matches the light green color of Chinese jade.
In gemstone balance, Serpentine is used to set boundaries against external influences. The turmoil of the stormy world is blocked out, allowing one to focus on one’s own self. One finds and stabilizes one’s center—inner peace sets in. Peaceful compromises with oneself or with others become possible.
Rudraksha nuts are seeds traditionally dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva and are worn for protection and as a source of inspiration. Rudraksha beads, as natural-looking jewelry, are widely used in India and Nepal and are valued much like gemstones. Enjoy security and protection!
Attached to the back of the mala is a pendant featuring a chakra symbol and a chili pepper; the guru bead is adorned with a Flower of Life (all made of rhodinierted 925 silver).
The Serpentine prayer beads are 68 cm long; the tassel is an additional 8 cm long.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
